Being one of the most active NGOs in Bulgaria, since 2000 Integra® Association joint following international projects under
Lifelong learning program (2007 - 2013);
Socrates Program;
Leonardo da Vinchi Program;
Joint Action Program - Ldv,Socr,Youth;
Community Action Program to Combat Social Exclusion 2002 - 2006;
Truck Speak - pilot test on Unit 1 has been conducted on June 28th 2005 with drivers from the Bulgarian transport company JIEL Ltd.
Collected first hand impressions, opinions and suggestions concerning the course
All the learners:
- found the content of the course relevant to their activities and day-to-day situations they meet on the road
- found the general layout of the exercises pleasant in appearance
- found the instructions for helpful and easy to follow
- showed willingness for continuing testing the course
- confirmed the course will help them with improving their efficiency and it will be very helpful for their daily round
- would like their future efforts to be rercognised by a certificate
Difficulties arisen:
- By following the pronunciation exercises and by completing some exercises due to the different language level of proficiency of the learners
- The main difficulties, however, arise from the differences between the Bulgarian Cyrillic alphabet, and the Latin alphabet used in the course
Suggestions:
- Some units could touch wider spectrum of questions and topics including variety of situations, exercises and expressions, namely "illegal immigration" and "loading / unloading"
- More phonetic exercises to be included
The general opinion is that course will help them doing their work better and in a proper way.
