The project idea lies in the need of increasing visible levels of the investments in human resources as priority of the most significant value of Europe as well as in the creation of community for equal possibilities of long-life learning for everybody.
The project aims to utilizes the exchange of good practices in the field of vocational and professional orientation and consultation concerning career development of young people, who finished their education and are unemployed as well as people who are physical or mental handicapped with special needs for their integration into the general educational system.
The innovative character of the proposal supposes a new manner towards the methods and techniques of the counseling: new instruments for self-evaluation and self-knowledge of the young people, little exploited and present in the filed of adult education; the end products - a guide for counseling and orientation regarding career adequate to the needs of the target group and a CD with the good practices examples - could be useful as a practical instrument for the target group.
It is the second year of the 3 years project the common outcomes for the Guide for Orientation and Counselling are still in the planning of structure and topics, but the exchange of information and material produced a better insight and knowledge in the Counselling field, which will be a springboard for the future tasks and will be used and exploited in the project activities.
